The Lone Star Thunderbird Head Rope

Rope has a good feel and balance. Use it for heading and dragging calves.

The slightly smaller diameter and lighter feel makes swinging the Thunderbird heel rope more like swinging a head rope but with the right feel of a heel rope. I’m finished trying every rope out there.

I was a classic head guy for a long time, but the new Thunder bird ropes feel very similar to me and last a long time, break one in and rope at a couple ropings then make a practice rope and I can seem to break them down or twist the eye. I’m very satisfied with these ropes. Great job Lone Star!!

This rope is perfect in diameter the rope is tied very very well and I’ve had zero back swing which I prefer in both my head and heel ropes. When you undo the ties there is zero kick in this particular rope at the eye perfectly great without a stretch just go rope and they stay open and balanced so so well….it seems like my hard right throws are much snappier with the thunderbird I like the soft lay the most and I absolutely like the medium soft thunderbird head rope. Big horns get sawed off with this lay and they feed very well. I’m very excited to be a part of Lonestar ropes and we as a whole and business I don’t think have had better service on shipping or availability so let’s keep em real and DONT CHANGE ANYTHING about the feel and handling of this particular rope.
